WATER

Water is essential for our bodies.

Yes, you know that.

However, if you we thirsty, the body switches into emergency mode.

That means it switches off all the non-essential parts in the body to conserve energy.

And the brain is the first one to be switched off.

First, because it has a very high consumption (oxygen, energy and water), and secondly – as daft as it may seem – to run the brain is not necessary for survival.

You don’t have to think to survive, you just have to keep living.

You see, no thinking necessary, that’s why its efficiency is reduced when there is a water shortage.

Message: Have a bottle of water on your desk.

They did this experiment in primary schools one time.

There were enough water bottles on the tables of the students.

The students were not encouraged to drink water per se, only informed that they could do so.

And: the teachers remarked that the performance of the students went up.

QED!
